— U-TEch
reputation, not paperwork
I’m building software that shows how someone really works, not how well they’ve formatted a document.
— THE PROBLEM
Nobody’s actually looking at you
Traditional recruitment runs on two machines talking to each other. One writes a CV optimised to get past a filter. The other is the filter. Somewhere in between, the actual person disappears.
That’s not how anyone I know ever actually got hired. Real opportunities still move the old way: someone who knows you, quietly telling someone else, “you should speak to Ryan.” That’s the part recruitment lost when it went digital, and it’s the part I started U-Tech to bring back: reputation you can see, that belongs to you, not to whoever happened to be your last manager.
— THE FIRST APP
U-crew: built for superyacht crew first
U-Crew is the first app we’ve built, for superyacht crew. Six-star service, high pressure, and an industry where reputation decides who gets hired, yet until now a good crew member had no way to show it beyond a CV and a reference call.
— ONE ENGINE, EVERY INDUSTRY
Superyachts were just the start.
U-Crew is proof the model works, but it was never built just for yachts.
Underneath it sits one engine that every new community plugs into, so each new industry doesn’t start from scratch.
Each industry gets its own community, built around how people in that world actually work. What carries across is the person’s reputation: it belongs to them, not to their last employer, and it goes with them if they move into a new industry.
